A British man questioned by Portuguese police about missing Madeleine McCann
has been officially classed as a "suspect".
Portuguese police have identified a suspect in their investigation of the kidnapping
of four-year-old Madeleine McCann, police said on Tuesday.
Three-year-old Madeleine McCann from Rothley, Leicestershire disappeared
on May 3 during a holiday with
her parents in the Algarve region of southern Portugal.
The couple have told friends they wanted to begin restoring an element of normality
to life as they remain in Portugal waiting for news of their four-year-old
daughter, who was snatched from her bed ten days ago.
